this is especially annoying.
Light and Motion's Titan housings, however, proves to be a
pleasant exception as I discovered not too long ago.

John Stricklin, bought
himself a Titan D200 housing and matching camera recently, and
wanted to test it out at nearby Vortex Spring, in Florida.

During the dive we exchanged
camera systems. I was amazed at how easily the housing handles, and
how well it was designed. It incorporates a feature that I found
especially useful: variable-power settings for the strobe --on the
housing itself!
This design feature allows the photographer to change the output
of the strobe without having to let go of the housing. In fact,
the housing uses an internal USB connector to control many of the
camera's basic functions, so that they can be activated by
pressing external buttons on the
