Strobes: (continued)

virtually unfloodable. Several companies, like Ikelite, Inon, and Sea & Sea to name a few, manufacture their own underwater strobes. While all make quality strobes, the YS250 from Sea & Sea has caught my eye.

High power, fast recycling, circular flash tube, a modeling light and built-in slave mode.  All the features in a rugged shell.

Camera Body:
Nikon D3X.  Face it:  if you're going to make a wish list, shoot for the moon.

One of my colleagues uses a D3X, and after having test fired it a few times, I knew I had to have one.  The shutter is lightning fast, the body contains a full-frame 24.5 megapixel CMOS sensor, and it's built like a tank. What else is there?

I'm not greedy: for underwater use, I'll be happy with a D300 in a Titan housing. The D3X is for land use.
