Giant Green Anemone
Anthopleura xanthogrammica

Very common in tide pools, the Giant Green Anemone has a range that extends from Panama to Alaska. The green color is due to symbiotic algae that live within its cells.

Sea Facts:

Whales "sing" to each other across hundreds of miles of water. In fact, it now believed that they can actually communicate across an entire ocean.
