Sea Facts:
Abundant marine life exists in the deep oceans. Thickets of
giant tube worms, some four feet tall, have been discovered at
a depth of 4,000 feet. These tube worms can increase in length
at a rate of more than 33 inches per year, making them the
fastest-growing marine invertebrates. |
