Caribbean Lionfish
Pterois volitans

Lionfish, venomous fish native to the Indo-Pacific, were accidentally released to the open sea during Hurricane Andrew. They have now made their way to the Caribbean. Because they have no natural predators in the Caribbean they are proliferating rapidly and have ecologists concerned.
